Usgovernmentauctions.net Review – Is Usgovernmentauctions.net a Scam?

Usgovernmentauctions.net sure sounds like once you hit it up you will be in the midst of all kinds of great auction deals. That would be the furthest from the truth. While this is a decent site, the Usgovernmentauctions.net review shows that this IS NOT an auction website.

I can tell you everything this site is not: it is not an auction website, it does not have anything to do with the federal government, it does not have anything to do with state government. There are just tons of things that this site is not.

Here is What it Is

It is a member site which means that you pay a membership fee to take advantage of the what the website has to offer.  The website offers information about government auctions which can be a real time saver if you’re looking for a deal. However, a more popular choice seems to be Auctionresource.org so you may want to check that out also.

It is also a company that will automatically draft your credit or debit card for $39.95 per month until you cancel in writing. When you register for your seven day free trial you agree under the terms and after you supply your billing information to be billed once the seven day trial is over.

This automatic payment situation can cause a few headaches along the way for example at complaintsboard.com:

“I signed up for usgovernmentauctions.net for the seven day free trial, after three months  I still could not get this company to stop trying to take money from my card, no one ever returned my phone calls it was really frustrating stay away from this website at all costs.”

The Site

I don’t really know if this site is bad or good or otherwise I could not get to any pages without registering for the seven day free trial (the free trial costs $3.95 not real sure how that works).

It was easy enough to navigate because I couldn’t really go anywhere. It was a bit flashy for my tastes and I was not happy with the testimonials that expressed people bought cars for less than $1000 that were worth over fifty and sixty thousand dollars. That scenario would be at best a unique situation that does not happen often.

Overall, the Usgovernmentauctions.net review shows that this is a legit site and is not a scam, however the membership cost does seem to be on the high side. A better option is to use a service like Auctionresource.org which is a one time fee.

Usgovernmentauctions.net Review

Surprisingly enough Usgovernmentauctions.net has nothing to do  with government auctions. Well it does but not as you would think it would. This is not an auction site although the name gives you the idea that it is a site that offers government items for auction nothing can be further from the truth.

This site offers a service but not really a service either. This site would have you believe that government auctions are held in secret that without the right information you would never know where to find auctions. Auctions are not secretly held so that only a select few get the best deals.

How Does it Work

Well you get a 7 day free trial so that you can scope things out, except the 7 day free trial which use to  cost $9.95 now costs $1, I know it is only a dollar.I apologize if this offends anyone but isn't another definition of free “without cost”? Anyhow once you get your free trial membership of 7 days under your belt be prepared to shell out $38.90 per moth till you cancel your membership.

What do you get for your $38.90 per month? You get access to the secret data base that houses all the secret auctions that are coming up. The secret auctions that as I mentioned are not secret at all. This information that you are gaining access to is actually information that is not only widely available but widely publicized in print and on the web. While this type of service can certainly save you a lot of time and help you find deals you may not find without it, most people prefer using AuctionResource.org.

My Issues With the Site

I do not like the idea that these people take money under somewhat false pretense.  It is kind of trickery to use a name that makes it seem like there is government auctions happening on the site. The landing page is full of images of boats and high end cars but the reality is that there is no guarantee that you will find any items that even remotely resemble these items.

Most government auctions offer used office equipment and used vehicles that are on their last leg, although sometimes you can find some real deals.

Subscription Price: $38.90 per month

Number of Items: information

Geographical Location: Nationwide

Overall, the Usgovernmentauctions.net review shows that this is a legit site and is not a scam, however a more popular choice is AuctionResource.org.
